In the year 1995, Sanjay Bagati an alumni of Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT) co founded a company, Elite Engineers Pvt Ltd which offered hearing products and services on All India basis under the brand name G N Danavox (now G N Resound) in order to improve the everyday lives of people with hearing difficulties. The company was also the pioneer in setting up mold and customization laboratories across the country.
Later in the year 1998, Sanjay Bagati along with Dr Nirmal Dhar Bagati set up a hearing health care company, Pinnacle Solution Pvt Ltd. This company was the exclusive distributor on Pan India basis for leading global hearing instrument manufacturers such as Phonak (Switzerland), Starkey (USA) and Interton ( Germany). The company also manufactured its own hearing aids and testing equipments (Audiometers) under the brand name “ Pinnacle”. The company set up unique multi brand Repair & Service setups, known as “Pinnacle All Brands Repair & Service Centers” for the first time in our country.
Later in the year 2006, Phonak India Pvt Ltd (now Sonova) was founded under the leadership of Sanjay Bagati (Managing Director) and Dr Nirmal Dhar Bagati (Jt Managing Director). Sonova is the world’s leading manufacturer of High Tech hearing systems (hearings aids, cochlear implants and wireless communication systems).
In the year 2012, San Hearing & Speech Clinics, was set up. “San Hearing & Speech Clinics” focus on accurate diagnosis, best hearing aids selection, high quality hearing aid fittings, In house repair & service facility with Speech Therapy services. San offers customer friendly services through its multiple clinics in Mumbai.
